The Challenge

Networkology had a strong brand, but their rules were too old and too complicated.
Some rules didn’t work with modern digital formats anymore, some old elements were being used in different ways, and teams across the business didn’t know which assets were still useful.
They needed a brand guideline document that was easier to read, more up-to-date, and useful for everyone in the company to follow. The goal wasn’t to change the brand completely, but to improve it by getting rid of things that weren’t useful and building a strong base for future growth.

Our Approach

We started by looking at all of Networkology’s current brand materials, such as logo files, colour applications, typography rules, templates, and examples of how to use them internally. This helped us figure out which parts needed to be made easier and more up-to-date.
After that, we started over with the guidelines, making sure they were clear and useful in the real world.

This included:

  • Getting rid of rules that are no longer needed or useful
  • Setting up new digital-safe standards
  • Making the visual language feel sharper and more consistent by giving it a new look
  • Establishing an organised hierarchy for logo variations
  • Making it clear when to use vertical, horizontal, and other marks
  • Changing the rules for spacing and layout systems
  • Making a set of flexible templates for marketing materials, documents, and presentations

We stayed true to the brand’s spirit throughout the process, changing it slowly instead of all at once. This made sure that the refresh felt natural and that internal teams could easily accept it without any problems.

What's New

  • The new brand guidelines made Networkology’s system more useful and ready for the future:
  • Modernised Logo Suite: clear rules for full, horizontal, vertical, and simplified versions.
  • Refined Colour and Typography: A consistent colour palette and type system that works best for digital clarity.
  • New Layout Rules: More consistent design with better spacing, alignment, and grid guidance.
  • Do and Don’t Examples: Visual examples of how to use things correctly to take the guesswork out of it.
  • Template Pack: This pack of templates for presentations, documents, and social media is made to make sure that all teams use the same ones.
  • Language Made Easier— A document that is easier to read and understand for people who aren’t designers.

The end result is a set of guidelines that feels modern, light, and easy to use. This helps. Networkology present itself consistently without overwhelming its teams.

Final Word

The new brand guidelines give Networkology clarity, confidence, and space to grow.
They now have a modern, structured standard that meets the needs of today’s digital world and makes it easier for people inside the company to use it as the brand grows.
