Measure first, design second
We started with a short review on site. Brief established, then every location measured — panel widths, glazing runs, door heights, sightlines from the entrance. That groundwork sets the constraints before any design work begins, which is why the finished signs sit properly in the space rather than being squeezed into it.
With the measurements in hand, the studio developed a set of design options for Geeks to choose from. Getting to a choice quickly matters on a project like this. It gives the client something concrete to react to instead of a description of an idea.
Signage that carries the brand
The scheme runs from the pavement inwards. Exterior glazing uses blocks of gradient colour drawn from the Geeks palette, giving a flat glass frontage some depth and marking the building out on Sutton Park Road.
Inside, the welcome graphic does the greeting. Reception signage anchors the entrance. Meeting rooms and workspaces are identified clearly enough to be read at a glance, and the language stays in the brand’s voice — the exit doors ask “Leaving?” and tell you to enjoy the journey, which is a small thing that does more for how the place feels than another arrow would.
Frosted and coloured film on the internal glazing does double duty: privacy for the meeting pods, and colour that lifts what would otherwise be a lot of clear glass and grey.
