The importance of a strong, well-designed logo is often underestimated. When it comes to branding, your logo is at the forefront. It is often the first thing people will associate with your brand and it will be what stays in their mind if it’s a good logo that is. Think about some of the worlds largest, most easily recognisable brands. For example:
Let me guess, the first thing that came to your mind when picturing these companies and brands is their logo. This is the type of quick recognition you aim for when developing your brand’s logo.

There are two main routes you can take when you’re looking to make a logo for your brand. You can either do it yourself or get the help of a trusted professional…
Like most things, you can attempt a DIY with online tools that are available. These websites offer quick and easy logo creation, but you have to ask yourself a few questions first…
The answers to most of those questions are likely to be no, which means you’re much better off letting a skilled brand designer handle it. Not only will you end up with a better end product visually, it will also be a logo that perfectly represents your company.
When we begin our logo design process, we have a chat with our client to understand exactly what they are looking for. This helps us know what types of design they like, and more importantly what they don’t.
We then take to pen and paper and begin to sketch out our first few designs. This is where we try to think of design possibilities. If they haven’t specified exactly which colour scheme they would like, we also play around with different colours to see what approach we want to take.
Once we have designed the concepts, we review with our client to see what their thoughts are and what they would like changed, reviewed and improved for the next set of ideas we will show them.
This process continues until the client is completely happy with the final product down to the smallest detail. We understand the importance of strong logo design and we also know how important it is for you to LOVE your logo.
If you’re thinking of rebranding and want a logo you will love for years, get in touch… we’d be more than happy to walk you through our process in more detail.
