The Challenge

A digital presence to match nearly 70 years of expertise

Selway Joyce is an established construction cost and management consultancy with decades of experience across prime residential, heritage, education, and commercial sectors. Their reputation was built on precision, trust, and long-standing client relationships. Their website needed to reflect that same standard.

Selway Joyce came to Design JD with a site that no longer represented the quality of their work or the calibre of their client base. The existing website lacked visual impact, was difficult to navigate, and didn’t communicate the breadth of their services clearly. They needed a redesign that positioned them as the serious, experienced consultancy they are without losing approachability.

Our approach

We started with the business itself. Understanding how Selway Joyce operates, who they work with, and what sets them apart informed every design decision. The site structure was rebuilt around clarity making it straightforward for architects, developers, and private clients to find relevant information quickly.

The design language is clean and considered. A refined colour palette and strong typographic hierarchy give the site a sense of authority, while generous spacing and clear navigation keep it welcoming. Project imagery is given room to breathe, letting the quality of the work speak for itself.

Built for growth

The new site is fully responsive across devices and built to scale as the business grows. With Selway Joyce recently expanding into Manchester and taking on increasingly complex projects across the UK and internationally, the site needed to support that trajectory, not hold it back.

What we delivered:

  • Website redesign
  • User experience and site structure
  • Responsive development

A website that earns the same trust as the consultancy behind it

The redesigned site gives Selway Joyce a digital presence that matches their professional standing. It’s clear, confident, and structured to convert — turning visitors into enquiries and reinforcing the credibility that nearly seven decades of work has built.
