Once the audit and strategic planning stages have been completed, the process of implementation begins. We ensure smooth delivery of all strategies including sign manufacture and installation. During strategy development, stakeholders are taken into account which allows for all the necessary documentation and required items to be gathered before implementation.
Tendering is our first phase of implementation and will include a finalised schedule of the signage required. This will detail the signage family and specifications for all work required in line with the ‘Required Works’ section. Installation guides will also be provided which will detail the positioning of the sign.
Once the tender has been submitted and returned by various contractors, we will assist in the analysis process.
Based upon our previous experience, we would suggest that the tender award is based upon the following criteria:
- Suitability – Previous experience of delivering similar solutions of this scale to NHS sites
- Environmental – Contractors with ISO14001 Environmental Accreditation
- Quality – Contractors providing samples to a high standard and possessing ISO9001 Quality Management Accreditation
- Compliance – Delivering a product which complies with the agreed design and specification documentation
- Ability to meet with timescales
This stage will conclude in providing recommendations for which contractor should be awarded the work.
Production and Installation Project Management
In every project a proactive approach is taken in the management of the production and installation. Once the signage contractor has been chosen, we will ensure everything is delivered in line with the strategy agreed and outlined.
After the successful completion of a project we look at the opportunities to promote and engage with the users of the district. To do this we contribute in newsletters as well as arrange launch events. This is in collaboration with the BID, stakeholders, partners and ourselves.
We promise to maintain excellent communication during this process as we feel this is the best way to prevent any error or setbacks.
